About Us
Spotlight is your guide to what’s happening in the Ottawa-Gatineau region. This online events calendar celebrates the wide range of activities in our region, whether you are interested in dance, festivals/fairs, film/new media, galleries, heritage and traditions, literary, museums, music, performance/theatre, seasonal celebrations, special events, sports and outdoors, or tours. You’ll be able to find events for all ages and interests taking place across the region’s diverse communities.
This new economic and cultural development initiative to position and promote the region’s wealth of arts, culture, heritage and festival activities, has been developed by the City of Ottawa in collaboration with the National Capital Commission and the City of Gatineau.
Spotlight was undertaken on the basis of strategic recommendations contained in both the Ottawa 20/20 Arts and Heritage Plan and Economic Strategy.
